I'm very bored, to say the least. I'm in one of those situations where everything has conspired to make my afternoon utterly stagnant. I can't go home, as it would take as long using a public bus (which would also cost an obscenely large amount) as it would to wait for my college one, and that would simply be pointless; I can't finish my coursework on Shakespeare, as that's at home; and I can't find much of interest on the net, as I spent all lunchtime browsing it already! So, as you can imagine, I'm not too pleased at current - and before some irritating git says, 'Why don't you go and read over your notes or something?', may I suggest someone of that ilk can go to hell.
On the positive side though, The Apprentice is on again tonight - something I'm actually looking forward to. It will be fascinating to see how the contestants develop, particularly Syed and Jo -those two look like they're going to entertain us over the next few weeks; they're so daft, it's no wonder that Harry Hill needed so few quips to make us laugh at them when he used footage from the show on his TV Burp last Saturday.
Oh yes, there is one more positive thing - it's Thursday tomorrow and this can mean only one thing: the weekend is near!!! My schedule so far includes brunch with a friend and then, no doubt, some lengthily playing of DoD:Source.
Oh, and on the subject of DoD, I really enjoyed a session last night were I went 'back to basics' - i.e. didn't actually take a sniper for once, and instead got my hands bloody with an MP40! It was fun, especially when I created a 'honey trap'. This concept, of my own devising, can only be applied when your team has one flag left. Under those conditions, you quite simply take another flag which - as the other team is so close to victory - they will carelessly try to take back, but not before you have killed them from your greasy position with the help of an automatic weapon. Ok, some might call it camping, but for anyone out there that plays DoD, give a go - it really works a treat.
Until next time...
